I've been a fan of Bobby Knoxall ever since I was a young lad. I was a welder but all I wanted to be was a comedian. I first saw Bobby in 1974 at the Ouston Social Club in Chester le Street, County Durham and I laughed till my belly ached.
Bobby oozes confidence, from the moment he walks on stage. He makes you feel as if you were in his front room. I know that Bobby has always needed to be a comedian.That's his passion in life. This comes out in the delivery of his lines and in his 100% belief in his material. That's what makes him so special.
