Alan Snell's eccentric style playing the Geordie daft lad has been entertaining audiences since 1970. At the peak of his career, he was doing up to twenty-one shows a week, including bookings throughout England, Wales and Scotland. But his favourite audiences are right here in the North East of England, where he's won many awards for his work.
At His Very Vest was recorded by Ken McKenzie in front of an audience at Newcastle Playhouse on 28 September 2003.
